Our Outdoor Gear

We believe there is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothing. Since we get outside in all weather, quality outdoor gear is essential I get a lot of questions about where we get the gear Yitzchak is wearing. I am linking everything below to have an easy way to get to it all!

Rainsuit: this is from LL Bean. We love it because they make infant sizes. Many brands do not make until toddler sizes. We have been using it as the outer layer with our fleece suit instead of a snowsuit. We used to have a snowsuit which we liked but he outgrew it and this has worked instead.

Booties: we have these from H&M. They have worked fine for us and his feet have not gotten wet. I initially didn’t love them in terms of their ability to stay on but started tucking them into his rain suit which helped. As always I would prefer barefoot but that’s not an option when it’s too cold.

Balaclava: we love our balaclava! It is so cozy.

Fleece suit: this is also from H&M and we really like it! We wear it under our rainsuit or as an outer on non-rainy days.

Merino Wool Base Layer: I love this base layer.

We have, unfortunately, not found gloves/mittens that we love and I feel comfortable recommending.
